The world was shaken with the recent outbreak of Covid-19. The Bangladesh government has imposed several phases of lockdown prohibiting moving outside home without any emergency. This brought up immense problems for people who work hand to mouth. As everything got shut off, they were left with no option but to starve. Many of them lost their jobs as well. Oporajeo quickly responded with the situation. With our limited resources, we provided cooked meals for the poor people around our factory, Kashipur, Narayanganj. Jobless laborers, workers and vagabonds were fed every day for 25 days. Total 22 thousand packets of food were provided in these 25 days. Each pack contained food for two persons.
